The Blue Water App: Innovating Activism

Description:

Human centered design process as it pertains to user interaction (UI) and user experience (UX) design. Students conduct basic user research to create personas that guide the development of content strategy, information architecture, feature sets, wireframes and annotations as they pertain to (1) large scale web development and (2) integrated campaign assignments that cover a wide range of interactive platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Participated and contributed to concept and design ideation sessions

  • Drafted survey questions and analyzed findings

  • Created user journeys and user flows

  • Drafted low fidelity wireframes via paper and pen

  • Prototyped sign up flow

BuddyBot: A Chatbot to Find your Ideal Dog

Course: ENGR 120

Description:

This course covered the application of Python programming to the fields of behavioral and social sciences, as well as basic building blocks of computers and the Web. This course also covered how programming is used in various careers.

Responsibilities:

  • Brainstormed concept

  • Researched components and information needed to create resourced

  • Created library of breeds for Python coding

  • Coded and troubleshooted chatbot
