I worked on the Whole Home team at Roku where I led an ethnographic discovery study on music-listening behaviors in the home, conducted a heuristic evaluation and competitive analysis of Roku products and competitor products, executed a participatory design activity that including a cord sorting analysis, and provided support to other researchers.

I worked on IBM's Hybrid Cloud, Data, and AI team where I assisted and worked collaboratively with designers, PMs, and other researchers to conduct research on leading queries using a variety of methods including heuristic evaluations, usability studies, SWOT analyses, etc.

UX Research Intern - Fandom

During my internship at Fandom, I managed the creation of research materials (moderator guides, participant screeners, research plans, etc.), conducted remote usability studies, and moderated a participatory design workshop with users. Continued industry research during my graduate program where we sought to understand the impact of design changes on Fandom micro-communities.

Graduated in August of 2017 with a degree in Anthropology, with a concentration in social/cultural anthropology. Maintained a 3.4 GPA in my department studies and was featured in an article on the department's website. Academic focus: how people navigate through the social world and contemporary social tech culture.
